| Abstract: |
A 74 MHz (4m wavelength) receiver has now been added to the VLBA antenna at Pie Town, bringing the full resolving power of the VLA + Pie Town Link to this low frequency. With baselines up to 73 km, corresponding to resolutions of ∼ 1000, and sensitivities ∼ 20 mJy bm−1, the first observations shown here have achieved by far the highest resolution and sensitivity of any images at this frequency to date. |
