Abstract: We will present results of 3d spectroscopy obtained with CIRPASS (Cambridge IR PAnoramic Survey Spectrograph). This will be used as a visitor instrument on Gemini-N. It has an IFU with 490 elements and provides spectroscopy in the 0.85 to 1.8 micron range with a spectral resolution of ~3000. It will be particularly useful for studies of high redshift galaxies.
