Abstract: Recent results concerning some chaotic and regular features of triple system dynamics are given. We consider the free-fall equal-mass three-body problem. We study the stochastic and regular regions constructing symbolic sequences during the evolution of a triple system. These symbolic sequences are used to calculate entropy-like characteristics to describe the behavior of triple systems before escape of one body. We study the effect of initial conditions on the entropies and reveal some isoentropic regions. The regularity zones correspond to fast escapes, whereas the stochastic sets have a structure like a Cantor set.
