| Abstract: |
A new IRAF catalog access tool for astrometry is described. The new tool enables the user to make a local or remote connection to a supported catalog server, extract catalog stars in a user specified region, locate the extracted stars in an image, compute a new plate solution, and write the new solution to the image header. A catalog interface API provides a uniform access method for any supported catalog server. |
