Abstract: The NRP mode identification on the basis of the method of Spatial Filtration (SF) was carried out for Algol-type eclipsing binary systems AB Cas and RZ Cas. The idea of the SF method is to use the fine effects of the pulsational amplitude and phase variations which occur during the eclipse of the oscillating component by the secondary one. The comparison of the observed variations with the modelled ones reveals the spatial structure of the excited NRP-mode. The application of the SF method to AB Cas gave us the identi fication of the observed main pulsational mode as l=0, m=0 (radial mode). However the application of SF method to RZ Cas is complicated by the strong influence of the inhomogenious circumbinary envelope. To investigate it the new modelling was carried out. Several simplified models of the accretion disk and of the envelope were adopted and the results of modelling are discussed.
