Abstract: Uniform-disk (UD) diameters of 51 giant and supergiant stars have been measured using the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer (NPOI). The UD diameters were converted to limb-darkened (LD) diameters using limb-darkening coefficients for plane-parallel stellar atmosphere models. These are compared with the LD diameters obtained with the Mark III optical interferometer. Results include those for Δ Cephei. The probability that diameter variations are reflected in the Δ Cephei data is evaluated.
