Abstract: The orthogonal or non-orthogonal wavelet basis are rich enough to represent efficiently the asteroseismological signals. In particular, it is possible, for a given mode, to detect its lifetime and its energy. Moreover, a specific time-frequency-scale analysis allows us to identify very close frequencies and beating phenomena.
