Abstract: Thanks to the new recent evaluations of stellar opacity (OPAL and OP projects) we have performed an extensive and detailed analysis of nonlinear RR Lyrae pulsational models for different values of metal content, revealing the new theoretical evidence that both periods and amplitudes, as well as light curve morphology, depend on metallicity.
