Abstract: The Toulouse best Solar Models include gravitational and thermal settling of helium and heavy elements up to 26Mg, as well as a mild mixing below the convection zone in order to account for the lithium depletion. They reproduce the sound velocity as deduced from helioseismology within about 0.1 percent in most of the solar interior. They do not reproduce the observed neutrino fluxes. New improvements of the models will be presented, and tests of models including non-standard effects like mild mixing near the core, temperature fluctuations, and mass loss will be discussed.
