Abstract: We have taken high resolution infra-red spectra, in the 1.62 microns region, of 12 T Tauri stars. These spectra have been compared with dwarf stars and synthetic spectra using line ratios of OH/Fe. It would be expected that the T Tauri's would differ from the dwarf's due to their lower surface gravity, a trend which has been investigated using synthetic spectra. Six of our objects appear to go against the predicted trend, suggesting that there are regions on the stars that are much cooler than previously thought.
