Abstract: We present the results of a multi-wavelength study of the massive star-forming cloud core LBN 594 located in the Perseus arm. Near-infrared, mid-infrared (ISO and ground-based), far-infrared (ISO) and mm continuum maps as well as infrared to mm photometry (ISO and ground-based) are combined in order to compile the broad-band spectral energy distribution and to reveal the morphology of this unusual object. Based on these results, we derive physical parameters of the cloud core and attempt to integrate LBN 594 into the current picture of high-mass star formation.
