| Abstract: |
Following the 1985-86 appearance of P/Halley, the International Halley Watch (IHW) Large-Scale Phenomena Network amassed a collection of images into an archive. Some 1084 of the best images were reproduced in an Atlas, published in 1992. This paper describes that effort and reproduces sample pages from the Atlas. Observations of comets in the spirit of the IHW are being carried out to support the heliospheric research of the {\bf Ulysses} mission. Interested observers should contact the authors. |
