Abstract: The ultra-metal-poor K-giant star CS 22892-052 has an extreme enrichment of elements created via neutron capture nucleosynthesis. The overabundances of elements with Z>30 increase with increasing Z, reaching a maximum at [Dy/Fe] =~ +1.8. >From analysis of new high resolution, high signal-to-noise spectra of CS 22892-052, we have derived elemental abundances for 20 very heavy elements, employing over 120 spectral features. We compare these abundances to those of the solar-system, showing that an excellent match can be made to the r-process fractions of the solar abundances for elements with 56 <= Z <= 76. The detection of Th II in CS 22892-052 yields an age estimate of this star's progenitor material.
