Abstract: We analyzed high-resolution (R ~ 28000) and high S/N spectra of 10 red giants in 47 Tuc, NGC 6397 and NGC 6752, integrated by the homogeneous reanalysis of 64 giants studied by the Lick group, to investigate the anomalies in the Na and O abundances of red giant branch (RGB) stars in globular clusters (GGCs). Results confirm the presence of the anti-correlation between Na and O, found observed by the Lick group; however, we note that also the most metal-rich clusters (i.e. 47 Tuc and M71) participate in the overall run of the Na and O excesses.
